The HSE National Office of Suicide Prevention appointed S3 Solutions Ltd to carry out a rapid assessment of the current situation regarding suicide within the Ballyfermot community. Ballyfermot STAR is now working with mothers using Parents under Pressure programme to support them with their parenting skills. The PuP UK study has been published and it is available in the public domain at the website below. This study demonstrated that compared to usual care, families receiving PuP showed significant decreases in child abuse potential and had improved emotional regulation....
